  • November 2017
    CHAGEE opened its first store on Wuyi Road in Kunming, China on November 17.
  • October 2018
    CHAGEE's Overseas Business Department was officially established.
  • August 2019
    CHAGEE entered the Singapore market.
  • August 2019
    CHAGEE's first overseas store opened in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
  • October 2019
    CHAGEE entered the Thailand market.
  • November 2020
    CHAGEE grew to 240 stores across Asia with monthly sales of over 2 million cups of milk tea, becoming one of the leading beverage brands in the region.
  • January 2021
    CHAGEE received a series A investment of RMB 160 million jointly led by XVC and Fosun.
  • May 2021
    CHAGEE received a series B investment of RMB 160 million led by Congbiqiushi and followed by XVC.
  • September 2021
    This year, CHAGEE first launched its Fresh Milk Tea series, along with the completion of brand and product upgrading.
  • January 2022
    CHAGEE joined hands with the popular China programme, The Nation's Greatest Treasures, to launch the "Sanxingdui" cultural and creative IP co-branded series for the Year of the Tiger, becoming the first tea beverage brand to feature "Sanxingdui" cultural elements.
  • November 2022
    CHAGEE worked with renowned photographer and artist, Leslie Zhang, to create a promotional video themed "Together with Tea", which was featured in the French fashion magazine L'OFFICIEL.
  • January 2023
    The number of CHAGEE stores exceeded 1,000 globally.
  • June 2023
    The brand new 'Tea Bar' store concept made its debut in Shanghai.
  • August 2023
    CHAGEE was the first tea beverage brand to announce a "Product ID Card" and launch the "Calorie Calculator" for its products.
  • November 2023
    CHAGEE achieved the historical milestone of over 100 million cups of Jasmine Green Milk Tea in annual sales globally.
  • December 2023
    CHAGEE became the first in the tea beverage industry in China to be an exhibiter for "The World of Tea: Special Exhibition on Tea Culture" at China's Palace Museum.
  • January 2024
    Managed by hearing-impaired staff, CHAGEE opened its first hearing-loss friendly store in Hangzhou, China.
  • February 2024
    CHAGEE cooperated with Art Exhibitions China to launch the a new range of themed packaging for the Year of the Dragon.
  • March 2024
    CHAGEE was amongst the first few brands in the tea beverage industry with a "Nutritional Choice" label announced by the Shanghai Municipal Health Commission and took the lead in releasing product GI values for greater transparency.

    The number of CHAGEE stores exceeded 5,000 globally.

    CHAGEE launches its first series of pet-friendly concept stores across various cities in China.

    CHAGEE launched a special campaign with limited-edition merchandise in celebration of its signature Jasmine Green Milk Tea achieving record cumulative sales of over 600 million cups globally.
